Water Resources Planning and Management

Clear Water Solutions staff has served as Weld County's water resource engineer for over ten years. Weld County operates gravel pits and wells for Public Works projects. We have managed all of Weld County's water needs associated with these gravel pits and wells to keep their operations in compliance with State water law. In addition, Clear Water Solutions completed a Water and Gravel Pit Master Plan for Weld County, which quantifies the consumptive use associated with their water rights,  computes augmentation obligations, locates areas for water storage and new wells, and provides direction on how to meet these obligations.

Other services provided have been analyzing and valuing water rights, developing substitute water supply plans and augmentation plans, leasing excess water supplies to others in need of water for mutual benefit, stream depletion and recharge modeling, change of use of water rights, and negotiating with property owners on mining leases and land purchases.

Clear Water Solutions handles all Water Court and State filings for the County.  We manage all water-related issues and have served as the trusted advisor for the County for over a decade.
