Water Resources Planning and Management
Clear Water Solutions has served all of the City of Fort Lupton's water planning and management needs for over seven years. Our staff completed a Raw Water Master Plan for the City and has actively been working with the City for successful implementation. We have assisted the City with major water acquisitions per recommendations from the plan. Only through good communication and a trusting relationship has the implemenation of the Raw Water Master Plan been successful.
Clear Water Solutions also assisted the City with the completion of its Water Conservation Plan per guidelines established by the Colorado Water Conservation Board (CWCB). Our firm coordinated all aspects of the plan, including filing and receiving approval of a planning grant from CWCB to fund the plan in its entirety. Our firm coordinated the City's public-review process. CWCB awarded final approval making Fort Lupton one of the first entities to have a State-approved Water Conservation Plan.
Other services provided for the City include Water Court, substitute water supply plans, managing the City's CBT and Windy Gap accounts, leasing excess supplies to others in need of water for mutual benefit, stream depletion modeling and augmentation planning, and change of use of water rights.
Clear Water Solutions staff has served as the sole water resource engineer and water manager for the City of Fort Lupton since 2001.
Infrastructure
Clear Water Solutions serves as the City Engineer for the City of Fort Lupton. Our staff has provided engineering and design on infrastructure related projects for the City. Projects include street and pavement design, pipeline design and installation, infrastructure replacement, storage tanks, and water and wastewater treatment plant upgrades.
Clear Water Solutions has also assisted the City Planner at the development level to ensure new development provides adequate facility needs to sustain that development.
We are updating the Utility Component of its outdated Comprehensive Plan. We will utilize planning projections provided by the City Planner to provide clear direction of both location and extent of future utility requirements.
In addition, we will be working with the City to ensure that City staff and its Council are knowledgeable as to the contents within the plan as well as ensuring that the City has a sound financial plan for implementation of the desired improvements based on actual use and development fees and charges.
