Water Resources Planning and Management

Clear Water Solutions completed a Raw Water Master Plan for the Town of Firestone.  The plan proactively addresses Firestone's growth and associated future water demands, and guides the Town to a water portfolio to meet all anticipated water needs.  Our firm worked closely with staff and the Town Board to develop strategies for feasible water acquisition and successful plan implementation.

In addition, Clear Water Solutions completed a Water Conservation Plan for the Town.  We obtained a planning grant through the Colorado Water Conservation Board (CWCB) for completion of the plan.  We completed the final draft of the Water Conservation Plan, which evaluated existing water conservation measures, established target water savings goals, developed new best management practices to achieve the new water savings goals, and defined an implementation strategy.  The Town Board formally adopted the plan after input from its customers during the public-review process. CWCB has approved the final plan, which qualifies the Town for water-efficiency grants and future loans through CWCB.

We are actively managing all of Firestone's water supplies, and we will be completing a rate study for the Town over the next year.
