Clear Water Solutions is providing technical assistance to the Town of La Jara related to the operation of their wastewater treatment facility.  Currently, the Town is not in compliance with their wastewater discharge permit.

Clear Water Solutions is working with the Town to develop a cost-effective plan to get the existing wastewater treatment facility back into compliance.  The plan consists of the following:

• Removal of existing biosolids in lagoons.
• Perform an analysis of the existing collection system to determine the extent of extraneous flows into the collection system and evaluate the cost effectiveness of removing these flows.

Upon completion of the plan, the Town will pursue the most cost-effective, long-term improvements to maintain compliance.  This will most likely require additional pipeline and/or treatment facility improvements.
